Fine Art Animal Portrait & Conceptual People Photography
Rebecca Forster, born 1986, is an autodidactic freelance fine art photographer. Key motifs of her photography are prejudices and identity under the shadow of role expectations. Her aim is to create a piece of art with a message behind: to picture ideas, not individuals or physical things, and to raise attention for problems of society through this. Each photo is part of a series, maybe also because of her big passion for fashion magazines since she was a teen. Fashion still plays an important role in her photography, but always remains a stylistic device only and is never supposed to be the subject of the photo. Her inspiration she finds through various sources, such as personal experiences, travelling, paintings, mythology, literature and movies. Besides her fine art series she loves to take individual animal portraits.
